PREPARING FOR YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

Appointments are highly recommended.  

Only one appointment can be booked per family or group per session.

PLAN YOUR TIME

Be on time for your scheduled session.

Appointments for portraits start and finish on time; late arrivals deduct from initial start time.

Sessions cannot be extended without the purchase of an additional hour of service.

WARDROBE FOR YOUR PORTRAIT SESSION

Dress in your favorite outfit.

Coordinate clothing colors in your groups and try to keep it simple.

Avoid large, bold patterns. Solid colors work the best.

Make sure the kids are in comfortable clothing.  It's hard to smile and look happy if your clothes are bothering you.

BRING YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

There are never any per-person charges or sitting fees.

Plan to bring everyone in the family: grandchildren, grandparents, relatives, cousins, friends, everyone.

Groups, clubs and teams make for great portraits.

Subsequent portrait taking are not allowed during the portrait session.

BOOKING PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

BOOKING: For all portrait sessions - a non-refundable session retainer is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee; however, the fee can be credited towards a future session upon the photographers approval. All remaining balances are due 48 hours prior to your session. A non-refundable full session payment is due if booking 5 days or less.

For wedding packages; a 33% retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance can be split into equal payments leading up to your event upon photographer approval. The full balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to the event date.

PAYMENTAll sessions and packages (plus taxes) can be paid via Cash, Credit Card, PayPal or Square Cash. No checks allowed. The initial deposit signifies the start of agreement between the client and Gemini PhotographX.

CANCELLATION POLICYFor portrait sessions, client forefeits their session retainer paid to book the session. As previously stated, the fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment 48 hours prior to the date of session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time.

For weddings and events, if for any reason the client cancels before the wedding or event date, Gemini PhotographX will keep the event retainer fee/ first payment paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made by verbal communication, text or e-mail. If the client requires to change the date, Gemini PhotographX will attempt to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within five months of the original event date.  If the new date is unavailable, the original agreement will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.

If Gemini PhotographX cannot perform the services agreed upon due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency at the time of service, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client and shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.
